Mr. Corbo

I know that this will seem funny to a lot of you as being an idiot and an asshole hasn't exactly been out of character for me in the past but after since his attitude is starting to cause serious threats of physical and/or pyschological violence between the students, graduates and apparently even some staff it is my opinion the entire staff team should start to look into this problem. I do not know the correct solution but we need to work out something because some of the staffs current stance on threatening the people that are under our care and responsibility is not good enough and as much as sometimes i want to punch that boy in the face... we need to work out a punishment system that work for him.

Regrettably, he is a guest here rather than a student, so I am not sure we have the right to exact any punishment other than asking him to leave, and that seems a little extreme for verbal misbehaviour.

However, I think an official warning about tormenting our students might not go amiss.

Not that I'm technically staff, I just mow the lawn, but already emailed the Professor about that one. He's my age, bit hard to punish the guy, but I wouldn't say no to someone tossing him in a lake. Somewhere. In Siberia. Forever.

Mostly I just want him out of my suite so I can get someone who isn't a bigot.

Kurt and Kyle are right, we can't exactly punish him, although I do think something needs to be said to him to make it clear that what he said is really not OK at all. I mean, we got a new student, and Jared went out of his way to make the new kid feel like crap. And for what? Why? It makes no sense at all. People here have been nice to the guy and he just keeps being nasty to people.

While I am bothered and concerned by the behavior of Jared Corbo, both on the recent journal post of the new student, Matt Murdock, and on previous occasions, I do not agree this is something with which the entire school staff should be involved in regards to a punishment. Mr. Corbo is neither a student nor a member of the staff. This is a school, but it is also home to people who are not actually a part of the school itself. It is our responsibility to look out for the safety and welfare of the students, but it is not up to us to hand out punishment to people who call this place home.

Does the situation need to be dealt with? Yes, I believe that it does. However, a discussion of this nature is not one that should be handled by a teacher. Professor Xavier is aware of what has happened, and I trust that he will speak Jared about his improper actions towards others. No one should be made to feel uncomfortable and threatened in his or her own home, and a new student should never be greeted in such a way.
