Head of Security

For some time now, I have toyed with the idea of hiring someone to handle the security of this house and school. Recent events have prompted me to turn idle contemplation into action and I was fortunate to be approached by a likely candidate even as I began my search. Mr. Lee Kuk of Janus Securities has applied for the position of head of security here at Xavier's and I am convinced that he is the ideal person for the job. I have gone ahead and searched for other candidates in the field but have found out in the process that Mr. Lee is highly respected by his colleagues and is considered to be one of the best in the industry.

Mr. Lee's background includes 13 years in the service of North Korean Leader Kim Jong Il, where he was a security agent and body guard to the leader. The discovering of Mr. Lee's mutation resulted in his incarceration in a prison camp for some years after which he escaped to China and then to America. Mr. Lee has worked his way up from washing cars at a security firm to become one of the most respected security consultants in New York. He eschews the corporate aspect of his job and prefers to, as they say, "work the floor" instead of taking a desk job.

It is for this reason, as well as his personal commitment to the rights and freedoms of mutants, that he is seeking out a job at this school. Mr. Lee sees for himself the opportunity to remain active while applying his skills to the protection and betterment of young mutants. Mr. Lee is completely up to date on all relevant security systems, he is a qualified security driver with an impeccable rating, and he is licensed to fly small planes, personal jets, and helicopters. He is also an exceptional marksman and holds a concealed-carry license but notes that he has not had reason to draw his gun on the job in the last five years and did so rarely before that.

Staff who have questions for Mr. Lee may pass them on through myself. Pete, Cain, Scott, and Logan, I would ask that the four of you be present at Mr. Lee's final interview, time to be announced tomorrow. Mr. Lee's profile will be made available to all of you tonight.

I hope that Mr. Lee will be an excellent addition to our staff.

Regards,
Charles

Fair enough. Question one - did you give the Korean government any plans on how to invade the mansion that may have somehow slipped your mind?

Just kidding, Wisdom.

Again, fair enough. No slight on Pete and Miss Gavin, but with what's gone on here, a professional's sure as hell going to be welcome.

I'm going to bribe Harry and have him slip you a mickey just for fun, you know.

Sure. A professional PSA's plans would be a hell of a lot better than whatever the rest of us come up with...

I don't know why you want me there, but if you let me know where and when, I'll be there.

This is a great idea, Professor. I will be there.
