Furthermore...

Pete indeed left to deal with a family matter. In fact, this would be because of information pertaining to the death of his father and the one responsible which came to light, as it would have sooner or later. The sooner however, took the shape of Pete knocking Scott out.

As it turns out, Alphonso de la Rocha was the one responsible for the death of Pete's father. Upon obtaining the files in this manner, Pete departed the mansion, under great stress as might be expected under the circumstances.

We are, at the moment, uncertain of when - or if - he shall return, though of course our hope is that he will do so.

Let me see if I have this straight, Chuck. Alphonso de la Rocha - father of our own little enfant terrible Manuel - has Pete's dad killed. Same guy who's part of the little group responsible for kidnapping Summers the younger about a year back? Same group that's been rustling up shit for the past year or so?

And you take a guy like Pete who ain't more than a paid killer, and you give him this information? What in the hell do you THINK he's going to do with it? Does the phrase "accessory to murder" ring a bell, Chuck?

Not only that...

But how do we tell Manuel? Doesn't he have a right to know?

If you ask me, I'd see if anything comes of it before telling Manuel. Kid's got a reputation for stirring up shit when he's in a GOOD mood. He goes crazy, everyone around him's liable to go crazy.

Chuck, tell me you've got someone tailing Pete to make sure he don't do anything stupid.
