So, how has everyone been?

I'm fine. Even if I was drugged and hauled around by cultists for a few days. Just a bit bruised and tired, though everything is still in it's same place. I may not be resurfacing for a few days but, well, I ran into an old friend (and isn't that how being kidnapped by cultists always starts?) and we have some catching up to do.

I will need to talk to Charles and then either Ororo or Scott soon, though.

Um, but for the most part it's been pretty quiet around here lately. I went to a psychiatric conference the other week. It was nice. I didn't get abducted or beaten up or anything. I'm starting to get the sense that's a rarity for getaway weekends around here.

Have fun with your friend. It sounds like you could both use a vacation from your vacation.

Oh, I only wish.

It's probably sad when not getting beaten up or abducted is put in as a highlight to a trip. But I'm glad you had fun. A nice, quiet weekend is certainly a plus.
