x-mactaggart.livejournal.comIn light of recent events, I'm having Dr. Rory Campbell (Ororo and various students met him) over at Muir Island send me various pieces of my person equipment.
The first order of business is this...Marie-Ange has indeed developed a secondary mutation in the form of precognitive dreams. During prelimanry basic tests, they indicated altered brain chemestry during Alpha Wave REM sleep. It will take further testing to see if we can indicate exactly what is going on (various scans, be it mechanical or psi), and there might be a possibility that we can either curb the dreams/nightmares that she experiences or have her channel her ability through another means.
I currently have all of her dream logs and sketches dealing with what we preceive to be the precog visions. It will take me some time to work my way through and catalogue all that is there, what looks like it has happened and put it up in a list on this journal. We currently have no way of telling what is true, what is false and what might just very well be a product of an overactive 15 year old mind.
Also, among my personal effects being shipped over is the gun collection that belonged at first to my father and then fell to my use and care when he passed away. This being a school, I normally wouldn't even bloody think about doing such a thing.
However, the attack on the school made me realize one very important thing...
In a school where people can walk through walls, read minds, blast through mountains...I am very much vunerable. Not from anyone here, but from those who would wish to harm this school. Not only am I human but I'm not exactly a spring chicken anymore (first one to call me old gets force fed my coffee). I'm in bloody good shape if I do say so myself, but I'm not getting any younger.
They will be shipped under the guise of family heirlooms (which a good number of them are) and I'll pull some strings to ensure that they get looked at as such and not the fact that they are actually in good, working order.
They haven't been shipped as of yet and they won't if I get a huge outcry from the staff, especially Charles.
They will be locked down tighter than your Fort Knox (specilized locks, that sort of thing) and I'll make sure that no one touches them without my knowledge.
