LeBeau

I hate it when it looks like I'm right.

This latest round of insanity has me pretty much convinced that LeBeau's who I think he is.  The answer to the kind of question "What sort of man delivers the nice doctor a beating and runs away?" is "a very bad man indeed".  If I'm right, LeBeau is one of the sickest fucks I've ever heard about.  He's an assassin.  Very, very good at his job, and likes his work.  Before anyone asks, no, I haven't just been keeping my gob shut about it for laughs.  I've had discussions about it with people who needed to know, but there were several compelling reaons that I a) wasn't sure that LeBeau is that man and still am not, and b) didn't want to shout about it to everyone.

With things the way they are now, though, I think it's better that you're aware of the risk/possibility.

My point is this: if you should encounter him, run.  Do not do anything else.  Call for backup later.  Be a hero some other time.  Just run.  If you are forced to fight, do not try and play nice.

I'm about to post something to the main journal to this effect, too, with a little less detail.

Update...

Lee's working on figuring out exactly how LeBeau got out. Obviously security's a little more permeable in that direction - this isn't a prison, after all, contrary to popular belief among the student body. Charles is doing what he needs to do. I don't know what to tell the rest of you, apart from watch out for kids contemplating heroics. I should have just pulled the plug on the journals and locked them all in their rooms instead of talking about it.

As for half the house apparently overhearing Jubilee and I, to hell with it. I don't care. I'm sick to death of hearing that same old complaint, and I fully intend to do precisely what I told her I would. Let's see whether she can handle it.

Our enfant terrible, as the Professor called him, has been very terrible and put the whammy on Madelyn. Whatever happen to just saying "I hate you all and I'll leave now, g'bye" already and then leaving in a melodramatic huff, huh?

Nooo, instead you mug the medical staff and run off!

Someone deserves an ass kicking.

Man, she's going to be cranky when she wakes up. You know, there's a reason I don't irk the medical staff here. The man better pray he's never in the medlab again, much less at her mercy.

Remy's back in medlab. I don't know exactly what happened, but there was some sort of incident with Amanda Sefton and she managed to blast him across the room, which triggered a fairly major seizure. He's back in medlab, under observation and restrained. I'll be watching him all night, to make sure there's not a repeat occurance.

I'll leave Ms Sefton to you, Charles, and Pete. But someone needs to take her in hand before she damn well kills somebody.

Our enfant terrible seems to have been returned to us, for the time being. I cannot be certain he will remain with us any longer than it is necessary for him to mend, but one can always hope.

He is currently not in the best of conditions, physical or mental – for his safety and ours, please do avoid upsetting him. Note that there are no exceptions to this request.

Having made that clear, he is now under Dr Bartlett's most capable supervision and she is to be contacted in any matter regarding him.

OOC: Backdated to Sunday afternoon...

Something's come up that I have to go see about in St Louis. Betsy's coming with me to make sure things run smoothly, although I don't anticipate any problems. We'll be back later this evening. Try not to have any medical emergencies while I'm gone, hmm?
