I've agreed to let Catseye go to the mall to see if she has better luck following the trail of Forge's scent than Kyle did yesterday. I say 'agreed', but really, when you walk into your office and there's a purple panther crouched on the desk hissing the feline equivalent of "Let me find my ShinyBitsBoy NOW" the question is one of negotiation rather than permission.
She had quite the logical argument, actually, once she shifted back. She knows the town very well, after all; she wanted to hit the mall first to pick up a base scent and then see where it takes her. I could have resisted the pleading, but that plus the logic... well, it makes sense to let her try.
Especially when we can minimize the risk. Kylun - the two of them can combine their tracking skills - and Shiro will be going with her, and Charles will be keeping an 'eye' on them. I think that satisfies both security and discretion.
