Shoulder war my... well.

I win.

Kyle and Jay have been advised of what their detention is for the fight last week.  The usual - confined to grounds, work around the mansion. They're to help Cain with anything he might need in terms of maintenance.

Well. This week seems to be the one for total disclosures, huh?

Yes, I know you'll read this later, Captain Sprains-his-Brain. Ha.

There will be meditation for myself and a certain student later on the front lawn. Consider this the "Do Not Bother" sign. Is four hours sadistic of me? Hrm. Maybe I ought to make it longer.

I'm looking up a Tai Chi school in the area, maybe even trying to find my old sifu so I can get around to trying to pass my student-teacher test. Also, I'll be taking out some of the kids interested in Tai Chi to regular classes with me, since there's no way I can work around teaching them myself if we're doing this long term. I'm Not Allowed. Yet.

Still, either way, I've got that lot covered.

But.

I'm sure there are others among the kids who might not mind taking up a particular Martial Art that isn't related to the self-defense classes we teach as part of the curriculum or Tai Chi.

So - any suggestions as to a form of Martial Art which might suit one student better than another? Cause while I'm at it I can do a blitz and find out about schools in the area that teach those too and suggest that to the kids. Or we can arrange something here at the school for them.

Well? As Aurora might say, chop chop people!

No. Sarah is not to be allowed to be alone with Miles. Melodrama aside, this is my decision and a request I made to the Professor, who has decided to honor it.

Actions have consequences. I will not allow an avowed killer who publicly stated that she enjoyed watching the look on her victims' faces as they died, feels no remorse over what she did and intends to do it again to be left alone with him.

Right now, this is not negotiable.

Whether this changes or not, however, is something that remains to be seen.

Have not slept. Keep that in mind.

Doug
Anyone, and I mean anyone as in "I don't care who as long as the following is observed" who wants to see Doug, may only do so if they can be certain that their body language will reflect no hostility or anger. None. Regardless of who it's directed at. Doug won't react well to it right now (massive understatement here) and despite being able to see better will very likely interpret it as being directed towards him anyway. He can't be pushed further. Let's not.

I'd also like to point out to you all the step Marie-Ange has made in the control and development of some aspects of her power. It is an impressive achievement. It is, bottom line, why she is here. When things calm down or in a few days at the latest, it should be recognized as such.

Professor, I know we spoke of this last night, but let me know as soon as possible how the talk with Dr Samson works out? A schedule should be set up and posted for everyone to see, asap.

Oh wait. Anyone looking for Lorna asks me. I'm keeping an eye on her, she's resting up for now and needs the sleep and is not in her room, no.

Pete - did you get a list of the people affected from Amanda? Or something? Do we have people out there who were affected but who haven't said a thing to anyone and might be in hiding instead? Because Lorna was, and didn't even know until I told her. Last night. That's far too long to be wondering, and I don't even want to think of anyone else who might have been avoiding everyone and everything, and still might not know.

M'gonna go fall flat on my face for a few hours now.

Ok. So normally, I wouldn't be thrilled about this notion, and I was a bitch about it myself when I was being stalked and all after coming out as a mutant but... Marie-Ange brought this up in her post. And right now, I'm starting to think the notion has merit.

I think the security experts here could probably elaborate on that thought further, but here's what I got, considering we've had more than a few incidents lately, involving fights and kidnappings and all that jazz.

Would it be possible to equip each student with a cell phone, or something else for the younger ones, giving them a means to call for help in case of trouble? And - letting them know about it mind - possibly a tracking device on the phone, as well?

Just a suggestion. Would anyone have any other ideas on the matter?

I'm sure that professionals would be able to disable that sort of stuff quickly but... it'd still help in the more mundane situations, no?
