He's sleeping now, and I expect him to for the rest of the night. Shock, mostly. And he's going to be one sore and sorry boy in the morning, although Amanda's willing to do her healing thing on him when he's awake. Something about consent and the threefold rule, whatever all that is. But I'll let you know as soon as he's ready.

Kurt mentioned they were handing the shooter over to the FBI. If he's the same guy, there's a pretty strong likelihood they'll need you in to give a statement - if that's the case, I can be there with you.

I think a little gallows humor isn't entirely out of place after everything that's happened today.

The agent in charge of the file a year ago was named Dobrinsky. I'd be surprised if he'd agreed to tranfer the file to someone since - he was pretty intent on catching the guy.
