Not just any student, the -ONE- kid here with no possible way to even stand up for himself. Takes a lot of balls, man.

Imagine my surprise that you'd take this to the staff journal over the comment of a student who doesn't like Logan instead of asking him or Doug yourself, Cain. I don't have any illusions about Logan, trust me, but I know he wouldn't threaten Doug. Doug's simply not worth it to him and it wouldn't happen this long after the fact. Why don't you go ask Doug about this, since he's not speaking to me, and find out what happened before you go making things worse?

Believe me, I plan to. The guy screws a former student, it brings his ethics into question. He damn near kills another teacher in full view of the kids, it brings his judgement into question. Hearing that he's tried to kill a defenseless sixteen year old boy who couldn't defend himself from a wet kleenex - that brings his goddamn humanity into question. And pardon me if I step on any sensitivities, but the fucking commandos didn't even do that.

Hell, you've got enough damn mindreaders here. Why doesn't one of you just reach into the kids' heads and find out what went on? With the psychotic lunatic and with the whole potion blowup?

I believe, if I have things correctly, that Professor Xavier did that already. On both counts, on Monday.

As the former student in question, I can tell you that you haven't got the first clue what you're talking about in terms of his ethics and I'm not about to explain myself to you. Professor Xavier is aware of the relationship and no censure has been handed down. If I recall the story right, it was Ms. Braddock who ran Logan through, not the other way around. And I cannot imagine him trying to hurt Doug that way.

I just received an e-mail from Marie-Ange. This is what she saw:

He was in here when I got back and Doug wasn't where I left him, he was against the wall. I don't remember what he said, but it was scary.

So, I'm thinking no claws (she'd remember -that-), just sheer intimadation and shoving around. Which isn't right but it's not threatening to kill him (unless he said something along those lines and Marie-Ange didn't hear it...she apparently tackled Doug out of the way).

Logan? A little...help, please?

*thinks* Marie-Ange mentioned protecting Doug now with her powers...but I'm worried, the last I checked her powers couldn't do anything on a level to protect someone...

I pushed him into the wall and when I backed off he stayed there. She walked in when he was trying to get me to hit him. I didn't. Marko's right, he can't fight back. The kid's not worth the effort.

I told him to stay away from Marie, that's all. And Colbert didn't use her powers on me, so I don't know what she's talking about.
