I still don't know why they went with a three-pronged dart when a single one might have done just as well, but from what I've been able to scrape off of the darts, they took a broad-based approach there too. It looks like they probably just dribbled a little of whatever tranquilizer they could possibly find on there -- they've been reading the latest literature, it looks like, so chemical analysis was a shrieking bitch, which is why I haven't been around all day.

Along with the assorted degraded organic compounds that constituted the suspension gel for the tranquilizers, we picked out at least three different major tranquilizers, half a dozen vecuronium derivatives, and even a spot of what looks like Xanxax thrown in for good measure. If you want the particular compounds I can give them to you, but I'd have to caution you that I couldn't get the dart to a lab for a number of hours even after I got my hands on it, so there was a substantial amount of degradation, and we tried to eliminate obvious contamination, but I'm not sure how successful we were.

Regardless, it just looks like standard, trade-variety tranqs mixed with other useful things. The approach that they were going after was just looks like the general tranquilizers didn't get you, then the neuromuscular blockers would freeze you up, and if that still didn't stop you in your tracks, I guess the Xanxax would make you at least a happy captive. If all of that didn't get you, the aftereffects of being hit with such a ludicrous mix of things would, as you'd probably end up nauseous and dry-heaving once the heavy tranquilizers started wearing off.

I'm still not sure why Logan wasn't affected by the tranquilizers, and I'm not sure that I'd be able to say even if I did get more information on what his immediate reaction was. He probably has some degree of immunity against the neuromuscular blockers because Logan has mutated cholinergic receptors, but I'm not sure about the rest.
