Even if it isn't a truth one likes, I'm finding that we're generally better of knowing. Knowledge is far better than ignorance, or voluntary blindness. I may not like some of the truths I've learned over the last year - about my father, about myself, about some people I look up to - but I'd much rather know, and carry that burden, than go on as I was, utterly unawares.

Everything takes time to accept. The good, and the bad.

As for your reclusivity.. I don't want to force it, but the offer for tea does still stand. If it would be preferable to being out amongst the school's population, for whatever reason, it could be done in your room, or even in the city, if you like.
