I hate it when it looks like I'm right.
This latest round of insanity has me pretty much convinced that LeBeau's who I think he is. The answer to the kind of question "What sort of man delivers the nice doctor a beating and runs away?" is "a very bad man indeed". If I'm right, LeBeau is one of the sickest fucks I've ever heard about. He's an assassin. Very, very good at his job, and likes his work. Before anyone asks, no, I haven't just been keeping my gob shut about it for laughs. I've had discussions about it with people who needed to know, but there were several compelling reaons that I a) wasn't sure that LeBeau is that man and still am not, and b) didn't want to shout about it to everyone.
With things the way they are now, though, I think it's better that you're aware of the risk/possibility.
My point is this: if you should encounter him, run. Do not do anything else. Call for backup later. Be a hero some other time. Just run. If you are forced to fight, do not try and play nice.
I'm about to post something to the main journal to this effect, too, with a little less detail.

Date: 2004-10-09 08:29 am (UTC)I don't know whether to laugh or scream, actually. Although I'm curious as to why such a deadly assassin, who could have quite easily broken my neck in his bare hands, chose instead to use the least damaging of all the techniques used to make people unconscious. Something tells me there's something rotten in the State of Denmark.
