*sighs* I blame myself, really

I just had a chat with Amanda, and it turns out that as well as her medlab duties, and what classes she's still attending, she's also pretty much the only one looking after Manuel. Who is out of medlab, but still in considerable pain and not exactly mobile. Apparently he misses meals if she can't get back, since he can't get down to the kitchens, and he's pretty much isolated from the rest of the school.

This is not on, folks. If it was any of the other kids it wouldn't be a problem, but Manuel doesn't have the social resources to rely on that they do. His own fault, I know, but this is not helping him at all. I'll be trying to check on him periodically, but he doesn't need (or want) a doctor, he just needs someone to make sure he's eating and isn't going batshit crazy up in that room of his.

If anyone can pass the word onto some of the kids that might be amenable to the idea of checking on him, or take the job on themselves, I'd be grateful. And so would our resident witch - she's just about exhausted, and we need her down here and functioning in case something else happens.

And that includes letting him starve when he's injured? Sorry, Cain, a certain oath doesn't let me stand by and let him sink. I'm only asking for help since I don't have the time to do it myself, given what's happened recently.

Thank you, Kurt. Try and split it with a few? I think Rahne and Kitty get on all right with him, and Rahne certainly wouldn't let anyone starve.
