I'm all for second chances. I'm all for helping fuck-ups. I am repeating this to myself, because I want to tear the little cunt's face off but at least some of this is because of Amanda, which is honestly, the least of his crimes, so I am restraining myself.
Whether he meant it or not, and I admit, I'm having hard time deciding if I care, he's been more involved in far too much damage over the last few months than anyone should have been, and that's only the stuff I know about. We need to do something about him on the hurry up, because right now he's proved himself a danger to students and faculty, and if we don't doing anything publically and fast, we're going to have a lynch mob on our hands that I at least am not currently displosed to stop.
Emma? Any ideas?

Date: 2004-03-13 04:34 am (UTC)He's made some progress, but he was raised by an awful, evil bore of a man who managed the clever trick of both degrading Manuel, and of making it clear to him that the De La Rochas are superior to everyone else, and that their considerations should always be placed first. Then he went to an asylum. Then he was used and abused by his father's friends. He has never had the opportunity to deal with people as equals, and the idea of equality is alien to him. I'm trying to educate him, but given his background, change was never likely to occur overnight.
As for his treatment in Paris... he was treated like an animal, Scott. He was restrained, drugged, blinkered, dragged from pillar to post, violated.
Clearly Cain would have loved it.
