I'm looking up a Tai Chi school in the area, maybe even trying to find my old sifu so I can get around to trying to pass my student-teacher test. Also, I'll be taking out some of the kids interested in Tai Chi to regular classes with me, since there's no way I can work around teaching them myself if we're doing this long term. I'm Not Allowed. Yet.

Still, either way, I've got that lot covered.

But.

I'm sure there are others among the kids who might not mind taking up a particular Martial Art that isn't related to the self-defense classes we teach as part of the curriculum or Tai Chi.

So - any suggestions as to a form of Martial Art which might suit one student better than another? Cause while I'm at it I can do a blitz and find out about schools in the area that teach those too and suggest that to the kids. Or we can arrange something here at the school for them.

Well? As Aurora might say, chop chop people!

Edit : ...I'm just going to find a nice wall to beat my head on now. Yep.

I won't make any jokes about what plasticbutt's got on his head. Don't rightly feel like bringing down jihad on my ass.

Course not. You're a woman, you don't tell anyone anything.

All I gotta say, is hope you like raisins.

Heretic.

And I am just _waiting_ for the administrative beatdown for filling the Staff journal with all this silliness.

You can get all the beatdown you want. I own half the house. What're they gonna do, fire me?

Nah.

Just invite Spikey and Sparky (I think that's what they call themselves) up to your place for a nice long pity-party.

And you'll get to hear alllll about it.

It'd help if I knew what your problem was. Ask a question that makes SENSE, and maybe I'll answer it.

Spikey and Sparky get anywhere near my boathouse and I'm throwing them both in the lake.

Isn't Sparky all falling to pieces right now or something?

Lake-throwing bad...

Trust me. Not worth it. Really.

And I'll have you know that Jono and I, while not precisely making huge amounts of progress, have not actually been at each other's throats. Which for me, when it comes to these one-on-one arrangments, is a definite improvement.

I don't have that nice mushy spot you do, Nate. I can do all the lake-throwing I want, without any of that nasty guilt.

So I take it Sparky's a better student than de la Rocha? Damn. I dunno, Nate, the arguements were entertaining.

But then, I'm still having them... what a fucking depressing thought.

That's what you get for having guilt. Just throw him in the pool or lake.

I could, if you wanted.

Hope there's at least some progress there. I know how much Jono means to Paige, and it'd be hard on her, losing him. Don't reckon there's much a non-telepath like myself can do to help, but if there should be, you let me know, y'hear?

He hasn't given up yet...

And neither have I. I'll keep the offer in mind, Sam.
