I was sorry to disturb Madelyn's enjoyment of her waffles - Madelyn, please do finish them before dealing with this. As Alison said, a few minutes more will do no real harm.

I will come to claim some coffee, then I will try to find her. Hopefully before Marie-Ange and her large stick do.

There would be nothing bad in starting a betting pool. Purposely letting Marie-Ange find her first, however, would be cheating, which would be very wrong of you. ;)

Tickets... might be acceptable. It does raise the problem of exploiting the children, but I am sure we could find a way around that. Perhaps if Marie-Ange received a cut.

That might be a good idea. Although we may want to take the stick away. College tuition will not do Jubilee much good if Marie-Ange inadvertently does her permanent harm.

I swear, I'm going to slip sleeping pills in the kids' cereal at this rate. What on earth possessed her? Nightmares of some sort - anyone got any ideas on the cause?

I am at a loss, I'm afraid. Jubilation does have one of the more difficult pasts among the children, but these nightmares seem to be worse than the ones she usually experiences, to judge by what she was saying.
